Appalachian Animal Hospital

Appalachian Animal Hospital is a veterinary practice on Monticello Road in Weaverville. According to its website, cats and dogs are seen at the clinic, which is in a renovated house. Horses, small ruminants and camelids are treated at home by doctors who travel with mobile units. The website lists services including advanced equine treatment and diagnostics, holistic and alternative care, pet dental care, surgical procedures, boarding, international health certificates, house calls, telemedicine and a pharmacy. It also describes an urgent care department for cats and dogs with non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries, and says walk-ins are seen there. The practice says it serves Weaverville and surrounding areas, including Asheville, Marshall and Leicester.
