Arden Reading Clinic

Arden Reading Clinic is a tutoring service in the Asheville area. According to its website, it has been helping students since 1982, began in a backyard trailer in Arden, and later expanded to North Asheville. The clinic offers one-on-one instruction in reading, writing, math, study skills, middle and high school courses, and SAT and ACT preparation. The site says its reading instruction uses an Orton-Gillingham approach and that its tutors work with students who have learning differences as well as students who just want help in one subject. It also lists a screening option with the KTEA achievement test, and its tutors can coordinate with schools. Students of all ages are served.
