Well Played Board Game Café

Well Played Board Game Cafe is a game cafe on Coxe Avenue in downtown Asheville. Its website says guests can choose from a library of more than 700 board games, organized by category and difficulty. Staff called Gamemasters are on hand to suggest a game for your group and explain how to play. The cafe serves local draft beer, wine, cocktails and coffee drinks, along with comfort-food style snacks, desserts and breakfast items such as pastries and bagels. The site says a flat per-person gaming fee covers a full day of play, and there is a membership option called the Gamers Guild. Reservations are available, and a private room can be booked for birthdays, parties, team events and game nights. Dogs are not allowed except service dogs, per the site.
