Trial to Table at The Mule

Utopian Seed Project holds the third and final Trial to Table event of its 2026 series on Saturday, November 7, from 1 to 4 PM at The Mule, the event space at Devil's Foot Beverage in South Asheville. The organizer describes the project as a nonprofit focused on crop diversity and regional food and farming.

The organizer says a group of chefs and food creators will serve dishes, with vegetable-forward options, made from ingredients on the project's pantry list. It lists Chef Lynn Wells, Chef Mallory Foster, Chef Dana Amromin, Chef Awo Amenumey, Chef Ashley Capps and Chef Nick Barr, plus a squash tasting table with a chef and farmer. The organizer says a short presentation is usually held partway through.

The organizer says the ticket is admission and lets you sample all of the dishes. Ticket prices are on the Utopian Seed Project event page.
