Engadine Weddings and Events

Weddings and events at Engadine take place on the grounds of the Engadine Inn and Cabins, a historic estate on Smokey Park Highway in Candler. Its website dates the estate to 1885 and places it about fifteen minutes west of downtown Asheville. Couples can use two outdoor sites: Honey Hill, a grassy meadow with a roofed ceremony pavilion, and the Vineyard Overlook, a seasonal reception space set up with a frame tent. Smaller weddings and elopements can be held inside the Victorian inn or on its wraparound porch. According to the site, the property hosts events of up to 100 people and can house up to 35 overnight guests across its inn suites and six cabins. Couples choose their own vendors with the venue's approval, and a day-of coordinator is required.
