Lookout Brewing Company

Lookout Brewing Company is a small-batch brewery and tasting room in Black Mountain, in the Asheville area. According to its website, it opened on May 1, 2013, in a remodeled strip mall unit and grew out of a homebrew experiment. The brewery makes a range of styles, from dark lagers to saisons, with a lean toward hoppy beers. The site lists flagship and rotating beers on tap, including a golden ale, a pale ale, a Mexican lager, a raspberry wit and a watershed lager. It says it likes seasonal and local ingredients, including malt from Riverbend Malt Company in Asheville and fresh hops from a nearby farm in hop season. The space is set up for hanging out, and the site offers a way to book a party or reserve a spot for a group. It also runs a yearly mug club membership for regulars, and the beer is sold to-go as well.
