The 14th Annual Haunted Trail by Asheville Plays

The Haunted Trail is an event from Asheville Plays, now in its 14th year, at the Adventure Center of Asheville (85 Expo Drive). It pairs a live-action haunted walk with a festival designed for ages 3 to 12, and runs October 9 and 10, 16 and 17, 22 to 25, and 29 and 30, 2026, from 6 to 9 pm.

The festival side includes pirates, an escape room, a glow zone, monster-sized games, a Lil' Ghouls area, and food and drink for sale. An optional Aerial Glow Trail at Treetops Adventure Park (for guests 4 and older) is available with a combo pass. Everyone entering signs a waiver, online or on site, and the organizers note that $1 from every Haunted Trail ticket goes to MANNA Food Bank.
