Doubt

The Autumn Players of Asheville Community Theatre present Doubt by John Patrick Shanley, the winner of the 2005 Pulitzer and Tony Awards. In the play, Sister Aloysius, a Bronx school principal, suspects Father Flynn of improper relations with a student. The theatre lists a run time of about two hours and notes adult themes.
The Autumn Players perform script-in-hand readings that emphasize story and character. Performances are Friday, Saturday and Sunday, November 13-15, at 2:30 PM. Friday and Saturday are in 35below at ACT, and the Sunday performance is at the Reuter Center at UNC Asheville, where visitors need a parking pass reserved in advance through ACT.
Tickets are listed at $8 plus $3 in taxes and fees ($11 total). See the ACT event page for details.
