Holiday Tree Lighting in Downtown Hendersonville

The City of Hendersonville invites everyone to the Holiday Tree Lighting on Friday, November 27, 2026, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Historic Courthouse Plaza in downtown Hendersonville.

The city says to bring your voice for Christmas carols, sip hot cocoa and watch for the man in red. Once Santa arrives, he will flip the switch to light the tree on the plaza and the lights along Main Street.

The evening also kicks off Small Business Saturday weekend, and the city encourages visiting downtown merchants. The official event page has the details, and the city's Holiday Cheer page lists the other downtown holiday events.
