Light the Night: Christmas Tree Lighting in Downtown Waynesville
Nov 20, 2026 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM Downtown Waynesville (Town Hall)
Light the Night is Downtown Waynesville's holiday kickoff, held Friday, November 20, 2026, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The town's Christmas tree is illuminated in front of Town Hall, with live music, hot cocoa, cookies and caroling.
The Downtown Waynesville Commission says downtown shops stay open late and restaurants welcome guests that evening. Guests can also adopt an Angel from the community Giving Tree to help provide Christmas gifts for Waynesville children in foster care.
The event page lists the location as Downtown Waynesville, 16 S Main St. See the official event page for details.
