The Stranger (Autumn Players at Asheville Community Theatre)

The Autumn Players of Asheville Community Theatre present Agatha Christie's The Stranger as a script-in-hand reading, with the emphasis on story and character. Enid is about to marry her long-time fiance when she meets an enigmatic stranger and decides to follow her heart, a choice that may lead to love or to disaster.
All three performances are at 2:30 PM: Friday, January 29 and Saturday, January 30, 2027, in 35below at ACT (35 E. Walnut St.), and Sunday, January 31 at the Reuter Center at UNCA, where ACT says every visitor needs a parking pass reserved in advance. ACT lists the run time as about 90 minutes and notes references to murder and violence.
ACT lists tickets at $8 plus $3 in taxes and fees ($11 total). Details are on ACT show page.
