Hometown Heritage Christmas Parade (Downtown Waynesville)

The Downtown Waynesville Commission presents the Hometown Heritage Christmas Parade on Monday, December 7, 2026, from 6 to 8 p.m. along North Main Street in Waynesville. The parade is held on the first Monday of December.

Each year's parade follows a theme, and floats, marching groups, performers, businesses and community organizations from across Haywood County take part. Entries compete for first, second and third place awards for the best interpretation of the theme.

See the official Downtown Waynesville page for details.
