Wolf Howl-O-Ween at the WNC Nature Center

Wolf Howl-O-Ween is an evening event at the WNC Nature Center on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 6 to 8 p.m. Guests take a guided tour of the red and gray wolf habitats as the sun sets, then visit activity booths with Halloween-inspired nature games and crafts. A kids' Halloween costume contest is at 7 p.m.

It's designed for kids ages 5 to 12 but open to the whole family, and children must be accompanied by an adult. Registration is by tour group (a 6:15 or 7:15 p.m. tour), and everyone should arrive by 6 p.m. regardless of tour time, since doors open at 5:45. The Nature Center's listing says tickets are non-refundable and gives October 24 as the rain date for severe weather.

Details and registration are on the official WNC Nature Center page.
