Drip Sauna

Drip Sauna runs outdoor, wood-fired saunas and cold plunges on a wooded hillside above the French Broad River, on the edge of Asheville and Woodfin. Its website says it draws on Finnish sauna traditions, with staff it calls Fire Tenders keeping the saunas stoked and walking first-timers through the cold plunge. Sessions last 90 minutes. Community sessions are shared with up to six people, private sessions can be booked for a group, and larger gatherings can reserve the whole site. The calendar also includes events and workshops such as yoga, breathwork and live music, and Drip offers memberships, gift cards and limited mobile sauna rentals. According to its FAQ, on-site parking is up a gravel road and is suggested only for all-wheel or four-wheel drive vehicles, with more parking below at the Dog Tag Art building.
