Woolworth Walk
A restored 1938 F.W. Woolworth building downtown holding the work of more than 170 local artists across two floors, with an old-fashioned soda fountain.

Shopping in a Restored Woolworth
Woolworth Walk occupies the old F.W. Woolworth building at 25 Haywood Street, established in 1938 and restored in 2001. It is now Asheville's largest venue exclusively for local artists and artisans, with more than 170 makers represented across roughly 20,000 square feet on two floors.
What You Will Find
The work spans glass, metal, photography, apparel, pottery, fiber art, painting, and handcrafted jewelry, all made locally. A working old-fashioned soda fountain, built to resemble the original Woolworth luncheonette, sits in its original location, so you can browse and grab a treat in the same stop.
Nearby
It is a block or two from the Asheville Art Museum and Grove Arcade, so the three combine easily into a downtown art-and-shopping afternoon.
