Asheville Turkey Trot 5K and Gobble Wobble 1 Mile Fun Run

The Asheville Turkey Trot returns on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26, 2026, with a 5K and the Gobble Wobble 1 Mile Fun Run. The race site says it is the 26th annual event, presented by Jus' Running, and that proceeds benefit MANNA FoodBank.

The Gobble Wobble 1 Mile Fun Run starts at 8:30 a.m. and the 5K at 9:15 a.m. Both begin on Woodfin Street in front of the Downtown YMCA and finish at Pack Square Park. Race-day packet pickup and registration are at Pack Square from 7 to 8:30 a.m. The organizers say shirts are not guaranteed for registrations after November 1, and that no dogs or pets are allowed because the course is not fully closed. The organizers also say strollers are welcome and start at the back.

The race site lists early-bird prices of $25 for the 5K and $20 for the 1 mile, rising closer to race day. Registration and details are on the official Turkey Trot site.
