South Asheville Turkey Trot

The South Asheville Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving morning 5K on Thursday, November 26, 2026, which the organizers list as presented by Hunter Subaru and run by iDaph Events. The listed 9:00 a.m. start and finish are at Biltmore Park Town Square, and the organizers say the course winds through the neighboring streets.

The organizers say the race is for runners and walkers alike, with a chip-timed, USATF-certified course, a 10:30 a.m. course cutoff, awards for top finishers in each age group and prizes for festive costumes. Kids 12 and under get discounted pricing, and a virtual option is available for anyone who cannot attend in person.

The organizers note the permit is pending government approval and the date and course are subject to change. See the official race page for registration and details.
