Hi-Wire Brewing RAD Beer Garden
A big dog- and kid-friendly beer garden in the River Arts District built from mural-covered shipping containers.

A Beer Garden That Survived the River
Hi-Wire's RAD Beer Garden, at 284 Lyman Street, is the brewery's River Arts District outpost. It has an indoor taproom and an outdoor garden built from upcycled shipping containers covered in murals, with more than 20 Hi-Wire beers on draft, cocktails, non-alcoholic options, and bar games. The brewery says it is dog and kid friendly, with food trucks on site.
Events
The garden hosts community events. The Oktoberfest Half Marathon and 5K starts and finishes here (the 2026 race was October 3). Check the Hi-Wire page for hours and the event calendar.
In the District
The garden is a good base for exploring the River Arts District. See our brewery guide for the rest of Asheville's beer scene.
